I'm actually enjoying work for once. I've managed to find an internship that actually lets me use my major rather than just be the office bitch.

Mind you 90% of the time IS being the office bitch, but some programming is nice.

Time flies

Pretty much 2 weeks of school has gone by in a blink. My classes are starting to gear up with homework and projects, thus keeping me busy. My dog, Maggie, is feeling a bit cooped up, but getting used to the new apartment.
My parent's house isn't selling, the market is simply crap. Not sure what we're going to do...

School starts tommorow. I have a packed schedule ahead of me. I'm truly nervous, though I know that if I can stick to the schedule I can survive the semester.

Maggie (my dog) isn't enjoying her stay in the apartment. She's constantly try to play and stay close to me. When I leave she desperately tries to force her way out. This is going to be a fun semester.

We got yet another showing, they actually showed up however they aren't interested.

I'm going to have to take my dog with me so it's easier for my mother to keep it on the market on her own. It'll be interesting to say the least.

We've lowered the price on the house again, but no takers. I see no other options but failure on trying to sell this house.

I needed a student loan to get by this semester at Texas A&M. The original plan was to apply with FAFSA with my older sister acting as my guardian so I could use her credit. We filled out the FASFA, and the applied to Texas A&M and Wells Fargo for various loans, only to find out that I couldn't use my sister as the signer till I was 24. Thus we were back to square one with only 1 week till the payment was due.
I had to apply for an emergency loan, however, I'll have to pay it back in 90 days. At least I have the proper time now. I might have to actually go up to College Station a full week early just to show my Driver's License and confirm the loan. Annoying.

Pointless Optimism

We got a showing yesterday, I was on my own so it was a panicked hour and 30 minutes of cleaning, followed by waiting. They didn't show up. No explanation or reason given, they just didn't show.

Figuring out how to incorporate a good exercise program into my school schedule. Planning is good for relaxation, however, I need to also worry about getting that school loan secured.

The showing didn't bring any interest, and no feedback from those who saw it. I'm near certain this house won't be sold in time. I'm also quickly learning how easy it is to eat 1,000 calories just for breakfast.

We finally get another showing after a week of nothing. Of course, cleaning up the house was chaotic. I'm also back to trying to lose weight. We'll see if counting calories does anything.

Pretty much no showings, no interest in the house whatsoever.
No real luck with the exercise either, as soon as there is any kind of work, it gets pushed aside.

Well, that potential buyer fell through. Now we're back to square one all over again.

I've been exercising 20 minutes a day, we'll see if we can keep it up.

The family that has viewed our house three times requested our seller's disclousure. They've basically done everything except the most crucial thing, give us an offer. It's becoming ridiculous. Either do it or don't, don't string us along.

My mother wants to lose 24 pounds before my sister's wedding in October. I'll be helping her, however, she has a long history of resisting help and being unable to keep to a diet and exercise plan. My hopes are not high

Three showings in a day sucks

The people that saw the house 3-5 are coming back 5:30-7:00 to see it yet again. Since they also saw the house a couple of days ago, this will mean it will be the 3rd time they see the house. Seriously, if you're that interested give us some feedback. Is there something that makes you hesitant? Some paint color or something about the floors? We'll include a discount for paint and maintenance if you want it, just start talking. Don't keep shoving us out of our house while you ponder.

Selling a House still Sucks

We get a call in the morning saying that there will be a showing 3 to 5pm. That's fine, plenty of time to do whatever. Around 12:30 we get a call that there will be a preview from 1:45 to 2:45. Not good.
Panic, clean, panic, clean, waaaaaaaait.

Selling a house sucks

It really does suck. Everytime someone calls to request a showing, you have to drop everything and spend 2 hours cleaning, then either drag the dog out with you for an hour or wait in the house and be ready to leave at any moment while not making any kind of mess. Not fun. This house has been on the market for weeks, it needs to sell soon or I'm going to go nuts.

I've added a whole lot of stuff to the Burn Notice Wikipedia entry, dealing with wiki-tards is fun! They are more than willing to run by your hard work, give it some error tag, but don't seem willing to spend the 20 seconds it would take to fix the problem. It seems like they forget their "anyone can edit" feature real quick.

Oh well, I'm glad it's all done.
